Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) – Labour Agreement stream, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be currently working, or will work, for an employer party to a labour agreement
• Have suitable English language skills, experience, skills, and other attributes for the position
• Be nominated by an Australian employer whose business is actively and lawfully operating in Australia and party to a labour agreement
• Be under 45 years of age when you apply, unless the labour agreement provides otherwise
• Meet the health and character requirements
• Sign the Australian values statement
• Have paid back any debt owed to the Australian government
• Not have had a visa cancelled or a previous application refused in Australia
