What Visa Do You Need to Work as a GP in Australia?
International medical graduates seeking GP roles in Australia most commonly apply through the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482), which allows approved employers to sponsor overseas doctors for up to four years. The newer Skills in Demand (SID) visa also covers General Practitioners, offering streamlined processing for occupations on the core skills list.
