• Be in a genuine relationship with your spouse or de facto partner who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen
• Have your Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen partner sponsor your application.
• Be in Australia when you apply for this visa and when the Australian Department of Home Affairs decide on your temporary visa application. The family members who applying with you must also be in Australia
• Not have had a visa cancelled or an application refused
• Not holding certain regional visas
• Be the right age
• Meet relationship requirements
• Meet our health requirement
• Meet our character requirement
• Have no debt to the Australian Government
• Best interests of the child.
• Meeting the English language requirements, if applicable.
