Only specific types of persons qualify as a Student Guardian and they are required to fulfil set criteria as part of the application process.

An Australian Student Guardian Visa is a temporary visa which is valid for the same period as the student visa of the student for whom they are a guardian or until the student turns 18 years of age. Visa holders may be able to study in a course (other than English language) for up to three months. No work is permitted.
